Mitch's new toy.
My living room has turned into a basketball court. Mitch, Cody and Mufasa are definitely putting the NBA to shame. Mufasa is a right little Air Bud. It's hilarious.

Baby Crib
Yes! :) We now have a crib and we're ready to rock and roll! It was hilarious getting it home. I went around the back to pick it up in my tiny car and this big black guy tried everything to get it to fit. I was trying to help, but he wouldn't let me even push the box because I'm pregnant. So he said they could hold it until I had someone with a truck come pick it up, but I wanted it home that night. I asked if they had some rope, he said yep--so I told him to throw it on top and I'll tie it down. He looks at me like I'm crazy, but throws it up there. Well, due to liability he isn't allowed to help me tie it down. So even though he wouldn't let me touch the box due to my pregnancy--he stands there for the next 30 minutes watching me jump on and off my car in the freezing cold tying down the box with the 5 pieces of string he gave me. I am so thankful for my dad being who he is because I am completely capable of tying something down with limited resources. The man was afraid to let me drive off, so I put on a heavy Southern accent and told him it's just like tying down a kayak and not to worry. He didn't look like he knew what a kayak was, but he let me go. Haha. Of course I got home with no problem. Mitch got home and we went to work. It was very easy to put together, but Mufasa didn't seem to keen about it. He kept laying under it and getting in the way while we were trying to put it together. Oh well, he'll have to get used to it. I love the crib, it's dark brown and simple. We didn't want one of the big decorative ones. But I tell you, the crib sure has a presence. I was trying to read in the room, and I swear the crib was just staring at me! It just has this look that says "I'm going to change your life forever and you've only got the next 5 months to get ready for it, haha!" I just sat there and stared back at it. It's weird. I mean it just looks almost harmless right now, but in a few months--that crib is going to be holding a future voter. It's truly a wonderful, but terrifying thought.

Awkward corner.
Oh and this is the odd corner that is right now holding all my art stuff. At least it's completely organized though. But it still looks weird and unfinished.
Bookshelf.
Well, I just finished putting together this new bookshelf. And this is it. It's much taller than I thought. But for $30 bucks, it's alright with me. I'm super excited about almost being done with decorating. I have one corner that's just odd. It's one of those places people usually buy a tacky fake tree to fill the space. I'd like to go all out and find something insane like a huge naked Greek statue, but I doubt Apollo would match my decor. Ahh, and I still haven't finished the bedroom. But now everything in the apartment has a place. No more boxes to go through, I have consolidated, organized, cleaned out everything. We finally have our new bank account up here which I love. I can completely start over and start balancing the checkbook. I gave up on it last time. So now we're almost ready for baby. We still have't gotten the crib because I can't find a standard crib I like or that I can reach into with out needing my two step ladder. But now we only have 16 more days until we find out what baby Uno is! Ahhh! I can't wait. I've already started referring to Uno as a "he", so hopefully I haven't jinxed myself. Well, love you guys. Hopefully I'll be able to come visit for a week soon. :)

Yum.
Well, Baby Uno has been craving some chicken tenders lately. And considering Ohio is lacking in the fried chicken joints and also in gas station comfort food. No Zaxby's and no Dodge's Chicken. :( But thanks to my wonderful stepdad I have successfully fried myself some chicken tenders! Yay. I'm not big into the frying thing--the Fry Daddy kinda frightens me, but it was well worth it. Now I have something else to add to the menu of things I can cook. So Uno and I are satisfied. All is well in the world. Mitch is still just working a lot. We're still working out everything so he can get back in school and finish. So he's excited about that. And I'm just hanging around the house. I'm trying to decided on some of the decor in the bedroom. I keep changing ideas. Now I'm attempting to make pillows for the living room. I have all the fabric, but I'm awful at sewing. I'm having trouble threading the dang sewing machine! But I'm so close to actually making this apartment look like home. :) Well, that's about it, we love you and miss you guys!

Goodbye.
This is my bag from when I was a cheerleader in 8th grade. It's the most perfect sized bag for average length trips. I am finally getting rid of it because Aunt Julie got me a new perfect sized bag for Christmas. Just in time because it's starting to fall apart. It's been a good 8 years. But it's time for me to stop carrying my cheap tacky cheer bag everywhere I go.

Update.
Hi.
We had an wonderful time in Memphis for the Christmas holiday. Thanks everybody for our gifts. Also our next baby doctor appointment is on the 13th. I'll be 16 weeks by then, yay. I crave grilled cheese all the time. And I'm starting to get a little bump. We're going to go crib shopping this weekend so I'm really excited about that. Not excited that apparently the cribs with the drop down are now considered to be "the devil". I'm short, I need the drop down. And I read an article on the internet saying that you should never put a blanket in the crib with the baby because they will suffocate themselves. And all I could think of the whole times haven't these people thought of a crocheted blanket--no baby could suffocate themselves with a blanket with holes in it! But seeing as though I've never been a parent before, who knows if I'll end up being one of those crazy parents that will keep my child in a sterile room his whole life. Yay--Sarah, the future mother of a bubble boy. Haha. And we still have made no progress on boy names. It's easy to think of names when you aren't pregnant. Now it's like "why in the hell did I ever consider naming a child that!?" Oh well, we'll have a name before Baby Uno gets here. Yeah, that the name for the baby while its in my tummy. For some reason we really liked the way Baby Dos sounded so we had to name this baby Uno so we could get to Dos the next time..because we're weird. And people are going to let us name future citizens of the world..Haha well, that's all. I hope everything is happy with everyone. Love and miss y'all.

Hi.
Hello all. I just wanted to share this with the family. This is Mitch playing his video game..and yes that is a towel around his neck as if he just finished a few rounds of boxing. He keeps a towel because his hands get sweaty. And because he's a dork. :)
