Green beans.

This is the enormous mess Nate made with his green beans. He went nuts when I gave them to him and would stuff handfuls into his mouth and mash them for a second and then grab them all back out and throw them on the floor. He did it with all of them, over and over. Then I gave him some Cheerios and he will eat a few and then feed some to Mufasa. He loves peas though.

Spoiled much?

I'm not sure which one is more spoiled..
I left the room and came back to find Mufasa all snugged up in my blanket. And Nate, was in the middle of babbling when his fell asleep on my chest.

Nate's Room

Well, it's official--Nathaniel has graduated to his own room. It's bittersweet. Mitch is happy, but I miss my little alarm clock. Well, these are some pictures of his room. I still have to paint his name above his crib and then it will be completely done. It's all happy little airplanes! Nate could care less but, I love it! And FYI, I bought the dresser off Craigslist and it was a light stain and hunter green, yuck. So I sanded it down and completely refinished it a darker walnut. Now it's something we can keep for awhile. It's my first project I've ever started and actually completed! And the ABC letters were my second project all spray painted and covered with scrapbook paper. Very very tedious project. But it was worth it.

Goodbye sickness.

Well, Nathaniel has finally gotten over whatever he had. Darn viruses. The poor baby was absolutely pitiful. He would only sleep on my chest, he would only eat apples and only if Mitch was feeding him in my lap. Pitiful, like his daddy when he's sick. But now he's all better. He's pulling up on everything and trying to walk around the coffee table. He of course says Dada all the time. We think he said bye the other day. Which sucks, because he still hasn't said Mama yet. :( He just can't get the Mmm sound down. But oh well. Now he tries to play with Mufasa. He grabs Mufasa's rope and waves it in his face taunting him. If Mufasa doesn't go for the rope, Nate will hit him in the head with it. It's great, Mufasa is a good sport. Well, I can't wait to go to Atlanta and see some of y'all and Katherine's show! Yay!

New couch.

Hello! We got a new couch for our birthdays! It's beautiful and comfy. And pretty much baby proof because the cover comes off and can be washed. We sat Nate on it for the first time and he puked on it two minutes later. Hah. But it's a pretty grey and should last through a few kids! :) Of course now everything on the walls are off centre now, but I'll fix that later.

Hello! This is Nate's favorite toy at the moment, along with a Tupperware thing full of Penne. But the main point in this post is--Mitch and I have almost been
married for 3 years and I just bought our first thing of lightbulbs. A few months after we got married, we went to a Redbirds game and they handed out free lightbulbs. So naturally I made everyone in the group get one and give them all to me. And now I've run out..:( oh well. And the picture of Nate was just to get you to read the post. I'm sure nobody cares about our lightbulbs anymore..:)
