Smell good rice.

I made a bunch of colored and scented rice for Nate. It's one of his favorites to play with. A bin of rice that smells like bubblegum, a spoon, cup, a funnel, and he's in heaven. He eventually just ends up throwing it everywhere, but it's worth it. He's also getting a little better at painting. He likes to paint himself most of the time. He loves to clean out the brushes and watch the colors go down the drain. He's a funny kid.

Cowboy hat.

We went to buy Mitch some new work boots today at Boot Country, yeehaw. Nate was so excited when we went in because he loves his daddy's boots and there were boots everywhere in there. Then, he found the hats. He picked up all the ones he could reach and tried them on. So we found him a youth one and he thought it was great. He was ready to go once he found one his size. He held onto it the whole way home and is still wearing it.

Polka dot bath.

Poor Nate had to have his checkup today and it of course involved shots. :( But he's perfect and hopefully won't have to go back until his next birthday. So tonight I broke out some foam dots I bought and he's in polka dot heaven. :)

Christmas and snow.

We almost had a white Christmas, but unfortunately it didn't show up until the day after. But Nate loved it regardless. He loved crunching through it and riding on his sled. Nate loved all his Christmas presents and carries his bat and golf clubs around all the time. He loves his books and George decals! :) Thank you everyone for the presents. He had a perfect Christmas.
